Suze Riley

Suze Riley (she/her) is a British artist based in San Francisco. Her mixed media papercut works and installations explore themes of faded yet joyful nostalgia — old signage, seaside towns, dated interiors, and the stories of the people who passed through them.

MMclay is proud to present California Girl, her brand new collection of mixed media papercut works and prints. This collection was created with MMclay in mind: a celebration of the memories that food, packaging, and the people around a table can hold.

For California Girl, Suze asked friends and connections in San Francisco who work in the worlds of art and food to share their favorite nostalgic packaged foods, and the stories and memories connected to them.
